I only reserved a resort room because I am an annual pass holder. I paid for the first night’s room upon booking. How many days prior to my arrival date can I cancel the room to receive a full regund

    Hi Patricia,

Welcome to planDisney! It's always exciting to hear from a fellow Floridian who is also a Walt Disney World annual passholder.

Don't you just love all the benefits of being a passholder, especially the discounts that you can apply to reservations at hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection and to dining and merchandise while you are at Walt Disney World?

I'm sorry to hear that you may need to cancel or reschedule your visit later this month. But things happen. And, as a passholder, you always know you can return at another time in the near future.

You can receive a full refund of the deposit you made on your room-only reservation if you cancel at least 8 days in advance of your arrival. To do that online, go to your My Disney Experience account on your laptop or the mobile app. You should see a "Cancel" button on your reservation.

If you can't find it, or if you would rather speak to a cast member to handle the cancellation, call the Annual Passholders line for assistance.

If September doesn't work for you, Patricia, I hope you find another time to visit this fall. I never want to miss the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival or any of the other fall celebrations at Walt Disney World. And make sure you check out the special offers for fall for annual passholders and for Florida residents..

Thanks for your question, Patricia. Please let us know if we can help in any other way as you plan this or future vacations.

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
