Hi! We just reserved a preferred campsite for our RV at Fort Wilderness this March and wondered if an additional tent is allowed on the campsites just to spread out a bit if needed? Thanks!

    Hello Tracey,

Your question caught my eye and because my parents are proud brand new owners of an Airstream, I felt this is something I too would like to know for further reference. After contacting a Cast Member at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, (407) 824-2900, I was informed Guest staying on a Preferred Site are permitted either one RV and one tent or two tents but no more than 10 Guests can accommodate a Preferred Site. So, yes, you will be allowed to pop that tent and spread out for further comfort.

If you are in need of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many magical and memorable camping moments.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
