Hi! I reserved a place holder on my last cruise in January 2019. When would I need to book my next cruise by?

    Ahoy, Min!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Booking a placeholder for a future cruise is always on my must-do list when sailing with Disney Cruise Line. It's never easy to disembark, so having another sailing to look forward to is the best way to deal with the end of vacation blues! It sounds like you did just that when cruised with Mickey this past January. A placeholder is valid for up to two years from the date you booked onboard. If you aren't sure the actual date you reserved your placeholder, give Disney Cruise Line a call at (800) 951-3532. A Cast Member will be happy to verify the date that will fall sometime in January 2021.

Min, since you have a placeholder already, I wanted to let you know that cruise itineraries through the end of 2020 are available for booking. If you are interested in sailing between now and then, I recommend reserving your sail date as soon as possible. I've always found the further out I book, the better the prices tend to be. If you want to cruise in January of 2021, keep an eye on the Disney Cruise Line website and the Disney Parks Blog for an announcement about those dates. The blog is my favorite place to go for the latest Disney Parks news.

Thank you for stopping by to "sea" us! If you have any other questions about your future cruise with Disney Cruise Line, please let us know.

    Happy Planning!
