Hello Nicole!
Welcome back to planDisney! Hopefully, this question gets to you before your trip, or that you have your tickets figured out already. But if not, I think I have the answer and a few ideas for you!
Unless you specifically requested physical tickets to be mailed to your home, everything is typically digital now, so you won’t receive physical tickets in the mail. If you purchased your tickets online through
My Disney Experience, you should be able to go into your account and see your tickets and assign a ticket to each member of your party. As long as everyone has a ticket assigned to them in My Disney Experience, and you are all linked to each other as Family & Friends, you can still attempt the virtual queue for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure! You don’t need the physical card in your hand to do that.
What you do need is a
Disney Park Pass Reservation. If you haven’t already, you’ll need to have a reservation for each park you plan to visit first for the day, and you’ll have to have an Epcot reservation for any day you plan to attempt to access the virtual queue.
From there, you can access your tickets in a variety of ways! If you are a fan of technology, you can use
Disney’s MagicMobile service to put your theme park tickets on your mobile device like your smartphone or smartwatch! My husband is a tech guy, and he loved having his park ticket on his smartwatch on our last trip.
I personally love
MagicBands, so I access my park ticket that way. If you will be using MagicBands on this trip, any active MagicBand linked to you can access the ticket linked to you. Some Guests mistakenly believe the ticket is “on” the MagicBand. That is not how it works. The ticket is associated with you on My Disney Experience, and the MagicBand is also associated with you on My Disney Experience. The MagicBand talks to My Disney Experience to allow you access to anything associated with you, Nothing lives on the band itself.
If you’ll be staying at a
Disney Resort Collection Hotel, and are not using MagicBands or MagicMobile, you can request a Key to the World Card at the front desk. This card will serve as your room key and park ticket. You can also open your room digitally with your smartphone and the
My Disney Experience Mobile App!If you are staying off-site, and won’t be using any of the above options, stop by any ticket booth or Guest Relations outside a theme park or at Disney Springs, and you can be issued physical ticket cards that you can use to enter the parks. And not everyone in the group needs to use the same method. Some of you can use MagicMobile, some can use MagicBands, and others can use a ticket card. Use whatever works best for you!
I hope this helps to alleviate any fears and that you have a truly magical vacation to the
Walt Disney World Resort!- Kate
