    we reserved the old key west resort for june and asked to be near the hospitality house, we were told by our agent it would not be guaranteed, we would have to see at check in. is there a way to call ahead of time to verify our request before checking in?

    Hi Paula!  Old Key West is really a beautiful resort, and of course the very first of the Disney Vacation Club resorts!  When reserving any resort hotel, Disney will accept requests for preferred rooms or areas, but this is never a guarantee.  They do try their best to accommodate all guests, but there is a good chance that they may not be able to situate you near the hospitality house.  You can call Disney reservations at (407) 934-7639 to make sure that the request is noted on your reservation.  3 days prior to your stay, you can call the resort directly at (407) 827-7700 to double check that your request has been noted.
