I have reserved firework dessert party at MK on my son’s birthday. I wanted to see if I am allowed to bring birthday candle to put on the dessert to celebrate. Thank you!!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nanane! I’m so excited to hear that you will be celebrating your son’s birthday at the Magic Kingdom Park! A Fireworks Dessert Party is the perfect way to celebrate!

Whether you enjoy the beautiful fireworks and delectable desserts at Tomorrowland Terrace or at the Plaza Garden Viewing area, you and your family are definitely in for a treat! From chocolate dipped strawberries to hand scooped ice cream and hot chocolate to sparkling cider, there’s something to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth.

I’m happy to report that all you have to do is make a note about the birthday celebration in your reservation by calling (407) 939-1947. Friendly Cast Members will be happy to bring out a candle and give some special attention to your birthday boy! There’s no need for you to bring your own candle!

There are a few details to remember on the day of your dessert party. You should check in to your location 60 minutes prior to your party and check the entertainment schedule about 2 weeks before your visit to reconfirm your fireworks showtime.

Nanane, as you’re making your way into the theme parks for your magical visit, make sure to stop by Guest Services or any retail shop to request a complimentary “It’s My Birthday” celebration button. Mickey and his friends like to give birthday Mouseketeers some special attention on their special day!

I hope you and your family have a wonderful visit! Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any additional questions. Helping you with all those little details is a pleasure!
