We have reserved a campsite at Fort Wilderness the last week of January with our pop up camper. Coming from up north, it's really cold! What is the weather usually like in late January at the Fort?

    Howdy Jeffrey!

Well, sounds like y’all are fixin’ to have some fun in the sun and do a little campin’ too! Your trip’s comin’ up real soon, and The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are a mighty fine place to pitch your tent or park your camper. You’ve got an easy-peasy boat ride over to Magic Kingdom, and you’re just a stone’s throw from one of the best family activities around: Chip ‘n Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long.

Now, I reckon the weather down at The Fort ain’t near as chilly as what y’all are used to up in Pennsylvania, but it can still dip down to ‘round 50 degrees at night. Truth be told, it’s been known to get even cooler, but that’s about the average low for late January. During the day, though, you’re lookin’ at highs anywhere from the mid-60s to mid-70s. I was just chattin’ with someone about packin’ for these kinda temps, so take a look if it would be helpful!

Y’all have a rootin’ tootin’ good time and make some memories that’ll last a lifetime. Safe travels, happy campin’, and don’t forget to save me a s’more!
