Want to reserve PO-R room for June for a party of 5(3kids).I know some of the rooms have trundle bed for small child. Will I be guaranteed one of these rooms if I book online since my party is a total of 5?Or do I need to call and request such a room? Thanks

    Hi, Gina!

You've chosen a beautiful resort for your family's June vacation! Port Orleans-Riverside is one of my favorite places to stay at Walt Disney World. You are absolutely correct that, in addition to 2 queen-size beds, some of the rooms offer a banquette bed (which are 35" x 65" in size and recommended for Guests 9 years of age and under). Even though you are a family of 5 and the online reservation system will ask the number of adults and children (and their ages), there is no way that I'm aware of to guarantee a room with a banquette bed when you book online. To be on the safe side, I would call the Walt Disney Travel Company directly at 407-939-7429 to book your resort room. The Cast Member will ensure that the correct room type is associated with your reservation. I would also ask the Cast Member to specifically note your need for a room with a banquette bed in your room requests.

Have fun planning your magical vacation! Please stop by the Moms Panel again to ask me any additional questions. I'd love to help!
