Do you have to reserve parking beforehand at a Disney park such as Animal Kingdom or at a waterpark such as Disney Blizzard Beach?

Hello, Vivian, and welcome to planDisney! I'm sure you are looking forward to your visit to Walt Disney World Resort later this month.

Guests do not need to reserve parking at the theme parks or water parks. Theme Park Guests pay one fee for a daily parking pass, which is good all day at all four theme parks—Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. Standard parking is $25 per day. There are also special preferred parking lots located close to the theme park entrances. Preferred parking is $45-$50 per day.

If you are a registered Guest of a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, standard theme park parking is included. Disney Resorts Collection Guests can also choose preferred parking by paying the difference in cost between the included standard parking and preferred parking. You can look over the variety of parking options available across Walt Disney World Resort on disneyworld.com.

Standard parking at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach is complimentary for all Guests. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is closed at this time, however, Disney's Blizzard Beach is open. Like other areas of Walt Disney World Resort, Disney has a plan in place for Guests and Cast Members that is focused on health and well-being: "Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is operating in alignment with the health and safety protocols implemented throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, including reduced capacity, temperature screenings, physical distancing markings, and face coverings."

As a reminder, all Guests ages 3 and older must have a theme park reservation to enter any of the parks. Before you travel to Walt Disney World, I would suggest checking out the latest updates about Resort services, amenities, dining, transportation, check-in, and more. You should also review the enhanced health and safety measures now in place at Walt Disney World before your vacation.

Please let us know if we can help answer any other questions before your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a magical day!
