How do I reserve for Droid building ?

    Hi Erin,

Last year, we spent quite a bit of time at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! There are so many immersive activities there, like building a custom lightsaber at Savi's Workshop or making your new Droid best friend at Droid Depot. I am excited to hear that you are looking to take advantage of some of these experiences to fully transport yourself into the magic of Star Wars!

You will need a reservation to ensure your spot on the assembly line at Droid Depot. To make a reservation, select the option to "Check Available Days on the Droid Depot webpage." It is a blue button near the top of the Droid Depot landing page. A calendar will pop up where you can choose your desired date range, the number of builders, and what time of day you hope to visit. Simply select a time and finish the checkout process on the website to reserve your spot. Make sure that you arrive early on your visit date so you have plenty of time to think through what you want to build and can check out the additional accessories available. After you build your droid, head outside to the mat directly across from the entrance. You can play with your droid here and let it interact with other droids and people!

You are free to keep your droid with you throughout the day but if you prefer to put your friend away for safekeeping while you enjoy all of the rides and attractions, there are options! At the front of Hollywood Studios, is a locker rental station with lockers that will fit your droid and keep it safe until you head back to your Disney Resort hotel in the evening. We love doing this so we don't have to worry about storing our droids on all the rides. Make sure to opt for the Large locker at this station because it is 15.5" x 13" x 17" and can fit your droid plus a few small accessories while you play!

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
