How can I reserve cabanas for a couple of days at our resort? I've been on hold for 27 minutes and still have no idea. Staying at Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village in mid March.

    Jambo Kiki!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The Resorts are my favorite “attraction” at the ‘World, so I can’t think of a better way to spend a day than lounging by one of the gorgeous resort pools. I don’t know whether you are staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House or Kidani Village, but both pools are wonderfully tropical oases!

For our family Christmas gift this yEAR, we went on a Very Merrytime Cruise. As a special treat, we rented a Cabana on Castaway Cay. This was my first time renting a Cabana, and I guarantee it will not be my last! They are incredible - so spacious, great shade, and a super relaxing way to lounge by the water. So I completely understand your desire to do the same at your Resort!

Unfortunately, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge does not offer Cabana rentals. Cabanas are available for all Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guests at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The Cabanas at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort are only for Guests of those Resorts.

Kiki, even though there aren’t Cabanas at your Resort, no worries! The pools are surrounded by lush vegetation and tall palm trees that provide plenty of refreshing shade. I wish you a relaxing vacation.
