Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Janice!
What a fabulous way to start 2021! Sailing away with Captain Mickey next January sounds like the perfect way to kick off a new year. It is even better with a stop at my favorite Bahamian island,
Castaway Cay!
I absolutely adore spending our day on Disney's private island in a cabana. The peace and quiet of the beach where the cabanas are located is heavenly. You can reserve your own slice of heaven once your
advance booking window opens. If you are a first time cruiser, you can begin to make
Port Adventure reservations, like a cabana on Castaway Cay, 75 days prior to your sail date. Returning guests that are part of the
Castaway Club can make their reservations before that time.
Once your advance booking window opens, simply log in to your reservation on the Disney Cruise Line website and you can make your selections on the "My Plans" page. Navigate to the itinerary for your Castaway Cay day and if a cabana is available, it will be listed as a Port Adventure option.
Cabanas on Castaway Cay are very popular! If one is not available when your advance booking window opens, keep checking as guests do change their plans and cabanas become available from time to time. Also, you can stop by the Port Adventures Desk once you are onboard to add your name to a wait list in the event one becomes available during your sailing.
Check back in at the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you set sail, Janice!
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
