Hello, I have reservations for both The Yacht Club and The Pop Century for 10 days in July. I have stayed at Pop Century before however I wanted to make this trip extra special for my 11 year daughter. Is the price different worth it? She loves Epcot.

Hi Laura! I'm a big fan of the deluxe resorts at Walt Disney World, so in my opinion, the Yacht Club is definitely worth the extra cost over the Pop Century. At the Yacht Club you'll have a larger, more luxurious room with big comfy beds and a balcony. You'll have tons of dining options since the sit-down restaurants at the Yacht and Beach Club, the Boardwalk, and Epcot are just a short walk away. Stormalong Bay is the best resort pool at Disney -- it has a fantastic slide, a beach area, a whirlpool, and a lazy river along with lots of fun games and activities throughout the day. You can walk to Epcot and take a boat to Hollywood Studios, which is a fun change from the buses. Since your daughter loves Epcot, the Yacht Club would be the perfect location for you -- it's so convenient to be able to walk over to the park! The Yacht Club is a gorgeous, relaxing resort in a terrific location, and unless you're the type of person who is in the parks from morning to midnight and spends very little time at your resort, I think you'll definitely find the extra luxuries and convenience to be worth the money.

I hope you have a magical vacation!
