Hey, Tina! This is a great question so I am glad you stopped by to chat with us. Walt Disney World Resort does have a "virtual queue" option available for
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, just in case it is needed at times. It has been used a couple of times the past few days, but you may not even have to worry about it for your trip later this fall. I will give you the low down on how it works, should you find one in place.
While in Disney's Hollywood Studios, you will need to consult your
My Disney Experience mobile app or check with Cast Members to see if a virtual queue is being used. If it is not, you are welcome to head on over to this incredible new land. Generally, if a guest finds that the virtual queue is being used, then they will need to join a "boarding group." When their boarding group is called via push notification, then they may enter the land. However, this is not really going to impact you at all since you have confirmed reservations. Guests who have dining or activity reservations inside Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge are able to enter the land one hour prior to their reservation time without having to join a boarding group. Should the virtual queue be in effect, you will just need to provide your reservation confirmation number to enter the land for both of your planned events.
I hope this information helps you plan a magical evening at Disney's Hollywood Studios! Thanks so much for chatting with us and please let us know if you have any other questions!
