Hi Amber!
Welcome to planDisney! We love spending one or two days at the water parks during our Walt Disney World vacations! Because we usually vacation during the late summer months, it is a great way to cool off from the hot temperatures! Both
Blizzard Beach and
Typhoon Lagoon offer unique water attractions and experiences for guests of all ages! Come to Typhoon Lagoon and enjoy the Surf Pool, which has the distinction of being North America's largest wave pool! Head to Blizzard Beach to take a ride on Summit Plummet, one of the tallest, fastest, free-fall body slides in the world!
Amber, you can purchase
water parks tickets individually or can be added to your
annual pass for an additional cost. The great news is that you do not need a park reservation for the water parks. Simply arrive at your water park of choice, tap your MagicBand, admission card or use the Disney MagicMobile Pass at the touchpoints and you're good to go! You can then head to the lockers to store your items and begin your fun-filled day! We love to start with a leisurely ride on Castaway Creek at typhoon Lagoon or Cross Country Creek at Blizzard Beach, or we head over to the chairs to enjoy some rest and relaxation while our kids start their own water park adventure.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
Malanie
