Hiya, Sarah!
It's so rare that I get to take a
Walt Disney World vacation without going into the
theme parks, but boy oh boy, do I love a trip like that! It's all about the resort amenities and the food and the shopping - it's practically perfect in every way.
The good news, Sarah, is that you don't need to purchase a
theme park ticket or have any sort of
park or resort reservation in order to make
dining reservations. The only exception would be is if you are trying to book a reservation inside of a theme park. In that case, you do need valid theme park admission.
Aside from that, you can book reservations with a
My Disney Experience account. Once you have that, you can make dining reservations online or right on your phone in the app. It's super easy on the app. When you open up the app on your phone, you'll see a plus sign at the bottom. When you click that, you'll have the option to check dining availability and make your reservations.
Guests staying at the
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel can begin making dining reservations 60 days in advance. Even better, you have the same advantage as other Disney resort hotel guests by making reservations for up to 10 days when your 60-day window opens up.
If I can help with anything else, Sarah, come on back and visit!
