Hello, Maria! We are happy to see you here at planDisney! I hear you're ready to lift off for a new dining experience!
Reservations for the
Space 220 Lounge are available both on the Walt Disney World website and the
My Disney Experience app up to
60 days in advance and since this is a journey like none other, it books up quite quickly! The name comes from "the fact" that you'll travel on a
Stellarvator to the Centauri Space Station located 220 miles above the Earth. That's a long way to travel for a meal!
I dined last month in the lounge with my 13-year-old son, and I liked that it is technically located in the same room as the main dining room, but it's in an elevated area with designated tables for lounge guests- I actually think the view is better from here, perfect for stargazing! I asked my server about the menu, and he explained that Guests dining in the lounge have the flexibility of ordering off the Lounge Menu or ordering off the
Prix-fixe Menu. I personally prefer the Lounge Menu as it includes all the specialty cocktails, wines, and beers, as well as Flight Bites, which are small appetizers you can snack on with your drink. I loved the tempura-fried Blue Moon Cauliflower (and I don't even like cauliflower), and my son noshed on the Short Rib Sliders; I also enjoyed the Jupiter Fizz! If you decide to go prix-fixe, then Lunch is a 2-course meal, while dinner is a 3-course meal. No matter what you choose, I'm certain you'll have a stellar adventure!
I hope your trip is heavenly, Maria! If you have any more celestial questions, make sure to send them our way!
