How do I make reservations for seating at the evening show at the island?

Hey there, hi there, Scott! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you've stopped by with your planning question.

Your upcoming visit is here! Oh gosh, I hope you are so excited to see the beautiful Christmas trees and holiday decor placed all throughout both parks and the rest of the resort. There currently are a couple of shows and entertainment available each night during the holiday season. Since you mention an island, I think you may be talking about The Heartbeat of New Orleans - A Living Mural that takes place 3 times each night between the Queenie and the Jambalaya Jazz Band performances. This is a wonderful entertainment option that has taken over Rivers of America as Fantasmic! has been on hiatus with a hopeful return in May 2024. There were reserved viewing options included in dining packages for Fantasmic!, but there are none currently for the current entertainment.

While there aren't reserved viewing options for that show, there are some options for other entertainment options in the parks. You'll find many dining packages that include reserved viewing for World of Color - Season of Light, as well as a dining package for A Christmas Fantasy Parade at Plaza Inn. I've experienced dining packages for both of these options and it's a great option if these shows are high on your priority list.

Scott, thanks so much for stopping by! We hope you have a magical visit!

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
