Hi Moms! We have reservations at Raglan Road on the night of Dec 3 '14. I understand that Buena Vista Dr is under construction. What would be the quickest way to get to Downtown Disney from Animal Kingdom and how much time should we allot? Thanks

    Hello Tracey,

Many Guests keeping up with the ongoing MouseKeeping going on at Walt Disney World, know the Downtown Disney area is under transformation to eventually premier Disney Springs. Along with this comes the necessary demand to accommodate the amount of Guests traveling by cars and buses to this area.

When traveling to Downtown Disney from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, the quickest way is taxi, which you can easily find at the front entrance. I am unsure, at that time, what road construction will be underway but estimate 35 minutes of travel time if it is heavy. Your other option is to board any of the resort buses, preferably Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort or Disney's Pop Century Resort, and transfer to a Disney's Downtown Area bus. If using the Disney bus transportation service, keeping in mind the possibility of road construction, allow about 50 minutes of travel time.

If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and enjoy your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World, may it be filled with many memorable and magical moments.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
