Have reservations at POR in November. Family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids-youngest is 4). Concerned about space. Also wondering if this resort has had any recent upgrades. First time staying on property and really want to LOVE it. Would I be happier at ASM?

Hey Amy! My family is also a party of 5 and with that number comes certain restrictions to which Disney properties you can stay in when you only want one room.
We too have stayed at POR, as it is one of the only moderate resorts you can stay in with 5.  The trundle bed is wonderful because it stows away and is not in the way when you all are in the room.  With the size of your family, the only way you can stay at the ASM is to either get a suite or get two rooms.  Many deluxe resorts will allow 5 but if you are wanting to stay in the moderate resorts I think you will be very pleased with POR.  We love it and have stayed there several times.
I honestly think you have made a great choice.
Thanks for the great question, and I hope you have a very magical WDW vacation.  Thanks for coming by to see us at the Mom's Panel.
