I have reservations at Pop Century for 5/30/19-6/13/19 in a preferred pool view room. I have been trying to decide if changing to annual passes might be the best option for me. Do you get a discount on the room price?

    Hiya, Patricia!

My family and I have spent many awesome nights at Disney's Pop Century Resort. We love the giant icons, like the Rubik's Cube, and the Everything Pop food court area is a great place to grab a bite to eat or a cold drink before bed.

There are quite a few benefits to being a Walt Disney World annual passholder. You'll get discounts at many shopping and dining locations, which can be a great way to experience new places to eat. There are also periodic special offers on Walt Disney World resort stays.

I always tell people not to invest in an annual pass just for the room discounts. Because they are offered periodically, and the available discounted rooms is limited, you may not be traveling when a discount is available. It would be a terrible disappointment if the whole reason for the purchase was in hopes of a discount that doesn't happen.

The best reason to purchase the annual pass is because you love Walt Disney World. If you plan to spend at least 10 days at a Walt Disney World theme park over the year you have your pass, it's worth it to go with the annual pass.

I hope you enjoy a magical stay this coming spring, Patricia!
