Hi there, Lynne! Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney. You've asked a great question! When the parks reopened in 2020 to reduced capacity, they added the Disney Park Pass system to make the experience safer and more enjoyable for guests. Planning a day at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks is a multi-step process, but it's actually easier than most guests realize.
The first thing you'll want to do is
link your theme park admission following the prompts in
My Disney Experience; you'll only be allowed to make Park Pass reservations on dates that your tickets are valid. If you also have a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation, you will want to link it to your account as well.
Next, check if your desired date and theme park are currently available by heading to the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar. If the dates you want to visit are green on the calendar, you are good to go! As of this writing, reservations are available for the entire month of February but don't delay, as park passes can run out.
Lastly, visit the
Theme Park Reservations webpage, where you'll be asked to 'Create Your Party' from your
Family & Friends list. You can select the day and Park you wish to reserve on the next screen. The final step is confirming your selection; then repeat for all your trip days. Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo! Remember that even if you don't get your preferred Park for a given day, if you have a Park Hopper ticket option, you can visit any of the other parks starting at 2 PM.
I hope this helps, Lynne. If you need any more assistance before your trip, remember
you've got a friend in me! Have a magical time!
