We have reservations at Ohana on 10/1 at 4:30pm. I would like to explore the Polynesian before/after dinner and was wondering if there is a MUST see while we are there? Also, what time is the Torch Lighting ceremony?

Hello there, Jessica! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and allowing us to help you plan your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort perfectly captures the tropical charm of the South Pacific while sitting just minutes away from the Magic Kingdom! This Disney Resort hotel originally opened in 1971 and has provided Guests with this island ambiance since that time. Personally, I adore just listening to the soothing instrumental soundtrack that can be heard across this Disney Resort hotel!

Before and after your dining reservation at Ohana, be sure to set aside time to explore this gorgeous Disney Resort hotel! In particular, I suggest taking a leisurely stroll along the beach paths that look over to Cinderella's Castle. I love taking a moment to relax on one of the swings placed along the beach, oftentimes with a Dole Whip from Pineapple Lanai!

Be sure to make it back to the Great Ceremonial House by 6:00 pm for the Nighttime Torch Lighting Ceremony, though! This mini-show takes approximately 10 minutes but is certainly not something to be missed!

I hope this has given you a few ideas for your evening at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort! Please let us know if we can help you with planning any other portions of your vacation!
