We have reservations at Ohana for July, what’s the best way to get there from one of the Disney Springs Resort hotels (we are staying at the Best Western Disney Springs Resort). Thank you!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nancy! Thank you so much for bringing us your question about dining and transportation at Walt Disney World!

I am so glad to hear you have reservations at 'Ohana! Not only will you love the ambiance and the food, but you will just love being at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort as it's one of the most iconic hotels to be in! Be sure to take lots of pictures to cherish those wonderful moments over and over again once you're back home.

With all the transportation options available at Walt Disney World, there are many ways to get from Point A to Point B; however, in this case, just be sure to catch a bus headed to the Magic Kingdom Park from Disney Springs and then take the resort monorail that stops in select Disney Deluxe Resort hotels, including Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.

Remember that it is advisable to allow at least 45 minutes for transportation. If you would like to avoid the stress, let me suggest Disney's Minnie Van Service. This super cute and relatively new taxi service works with the Lyft app, which you need to have downloaded on your phone if you choose to use this service. You'll see it is very simple to use! Once you open the app from a Walt Disney World location (say Disney Springs, in this case), it'll prompt you to select where you are going. You can simply follow the steps just like you would on any other taxi app and, since it is connected to your credit card, you do not even need to worry about having cash available. Minnie Vans are roomy and can accommodate up to six guests. They also come equipped with two versatile car seats, should you need them, at no additional cost.

I hope this information has been helpful, Nancy. Please come back with more questions; we are happy to help!

    Wishing you a pixie-dusted vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
