Hi Taylor! I'm glad you were able to secure a reservation for
Oga's Cantina for your upcoming trip! I was able to visit this unique location a few times, and I think it is a must-do for anyone planning a trip to Black Spire Outpost. With the unique beverages, awesome bartenders, and DJ R-3X playing your favorite tunes from around the galaxy, it is really a great time!
My experience with dining reservations shortly prior to park close is that Guests are allowed to stay and enjoy their reservation without being rushed out. In fact, when
Disney's Hollywood Studios is scheduled to close at 8:00 pm, reservations for Oga's Cantina may be made for times up until 7:55 pm! All Guests with a reservation will be allowed to order and enjoy their time at Oga's.
I took a look at the
park hours calendar and the entertainment schedule for Disney's Hollywood Studios for your February visit. Both nighttime spectaculars,
Fantasmic! and
Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, are currently scheduled for 8:00 pm. If you are still inside the Cantina enjoying your beverages at that time, then you will not be able to see either show. If you are finished, you may be able to catch part of
Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular; some of the fireworks can be seen even if you aren't near the Chinese Theatre. I would not recommend attempting to see Fantasmic!, as the amphitheater is a much further walk and not much of the show can be seen from outside the theater.
If seeing fireworks is important to you, you may want to try to adjust the time of your reservation. If that isn't possible, I would arrive at Oga's Cantina about 15 minutes ahead of time to check in. If you happen to be admitted a little early, I think 30 minutes is plenty of time to enjoy a beverage or two and be outside in enough time to catch some fireworks. Personally, since the planet of Batuu is so beautiful at night, I would take my time leaving after enjoying the Cantina. I have some really beautiful nighttime photos from my visit to
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
I hope that helps! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Enjoy your visit!
