Hi, Have reservations to Mickey's BBQ on a day we will be visiting MK. We have our own car, so trying to figure out is it better / quicker to drive over or to take the ferry (taking into acct. best option to get back to our car). Thoughts?

    Dear Lauren,

Nice to meet you here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The Walt Disney World Resort certainly covers a lot of land area and it can be hard to navigate from place to place at times!

You can absolutely go via ferry or via car. The ferry would certainly be more scenic, and might even be quicker at the beginning of the night before the show. After the show, though, you might be very happy to have your car already waiting for you there so you can just zip back to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel! If you are planning to return to the Magic Kingdom after Mickey's Backyard BBQ, then I would advise taking the ferry both ways!

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
