Oh boy, it sounds like you have reservations scheduled for the Disneyland Resort! I hope that the planning is going well. You've certainly come to the right place and it would be my pleasure to help you.
Unlike the Walt Disney World Resort, the Disneyland Resort does not offer a MagicBand+ home delivery option prior to your arrival. If you'd like to have your
MagicBand+ before leaving home, then you may order one through
Disneystore.com to have it delivered before your trip. Just make sure that it is a MagicBand+ because previous MagicBand types are not currently supported at the Disneyland Resort. There is no inherent discount on purchasing MagicBand+ if you have a Disneyland Resort reservation, but I see a couple of Bands that are discounted already through Disneystore.com. MagicBand+ may also be found at these locations once you are on property too! Once you find one that you like, just follow the
setup instructions and you'll be ready to go in no time!
As a tech geek, I loved hearing the Disney Parks Blog announce that
MagicBand+ functionality would be coming to the Disneyland Resort! I don't visit the Parks without mine anymore as it adds so much fun and convenience to my day. It's so much easier to just scan my Band rather than taking out my phone to show my ticket. And I love the location based haptic feedback, especially during nighttime spectaculars!
