We have reservations for the Luau, could you describe the food? The menu looks small ribs, chicken, rice & veg. More choices or is this meal just limited? Hows that dessert? sounds yummy!

There are no food choices for this dining experience. There is a set menu that is served family style. Everyone in the restaurant eats the same thing.

The first course is a green salad, pineapple slices, and a tropical pineapple coconut bread.

The main course is BBQ pork ribs, roasted chicken, rice and veggies.

Dessert is the Volcano Delight which is a volcano-shaped chocolate mousse cake with a raspberry sauce for "lava."

The food is all-you-care-to-eat, so that if you want more of any item, just tell your server and he or she will bring it out to you.

Also included are beverages: beer, house wine, soft drinks, coffee, tea, or milk. There are specialty adult beverages available for purchase with an additional fee.

Children ages 3-9 do have a choice of hot dog, mac and cheese, chicken nuggets or PB&J.

The reason to go to the Spirit of Aloha Luau is the show and not the food.  In my opinion, the food here is fine, but not great. I once ate there with a friend who had a big aversion to pineapple. She found the menu to be quite limited because even the rib sauce seemed too pineappley. As for dessert, again, I would say that it is fine, but not spectacular.

I find the Hoop Dee Doo Revue dinner show food to be much better than the luau food.
