Hi there, Lily!
Welcome to planDisney and we're happy to see you here! I'm so sorry to hear about your plans changing last year. I hope that you and your family have fully recovered and are excited to be visiting the Parks this year! We're definitely here for all your planning questions and to offer advice if needed.
You'll definitely need to change around your reservations to reflect your new visit dates. All Park Guests still require a
Theme Park Ticket and valid reservation to enter the Parks. Thankfully, regular tickets should have a fairly long expiration date. In order to make new reservations, head on over to
Ticket and Reservation Details and click on "Make or Modify Park Reservations." Then select "Book Theme Park Reservations to re-schedule your visit. Please note that reservations are released 180 days in advance, so you won't see your dates open until the latter part of February.
There are lots of exciting changes coming to the Parks this year and I'm hoping that you'll get to see some of them! The
Haunted Mansion Grounds will be expanding, with some spooky queue additions and a carriage house belonging to Madame Leota that will function as an all new retail space. Also,
Tiana's Bayou Adventure is scheduled to begin welcoming Guests in 2024. Follow the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest announcements!
Fun Fact: The iconic
Haunted Mansion purple wallpaper began as a doodle on Former Disney Imagineer Tania McNight Norris' desk. She was hired in 1964 as an interior designer for the then upcoming New Orleans Square expansion.
Lily, I hope I was able to answer your question and that you're able to reschedule a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! If you have something else you'd like to ask us, we'd love to hear from you again. You're always welcome at planDisney. Until next time!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
