Greetings Louisa!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your children are the perfect age to experience the magic and wonder of Disney on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!
Combining a magical day at
Magic Kingdom Park with an "unbirthday party" at
Wonderland Tea Party at 1900 Park Fare sounds practically perfect in every way! However, if your little Mouseketeers have never experienced the popular
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade featuring beloved Disney Characters, I would try to book the Wonderland Tea Party on a different day. As a mom of four children who are all teenagers now, seeing the parades and nighttime spectaculars have always been a "must do" experience for our family when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade features beautiful costuming, an amazing score, vibrant floats featuring Disney Princesses and favorite Disney Characters and Maleficent as a fire-breathing dragon. Due to popularity, I recommend securing a seat for the afternoon parade at least 45 - 60 minutes prior to the start for optimal viewing. I honestly believe your kiddos would enjoy both experiences; however, my pick would be Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade if you don't foresee having another day to catch this spectacular parade.
I hope this information has been helpful in making the best decision for your family, Louisa. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. It's our pleasure to assist you in planning a magical trip!
Happy Planning,
Jodie
