Hello! I have reservations for June 19 to Disneyland. Since California is planning on reopening on June 15, does this mean park will be open to full capacity? I was looking forward to less people in the park.

    Hi Annette,

Your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth is just two short weeks away! Are you counting down the days until the magic and fun begin? SO exciting!

While the Disneyland Resort will be opening its gates to out-of-state residents beginning June 15th, no official announcements have been made about capacity increases, and the theme park reservation system is still in place to manage crowds. I can assure you that Disney is working closely with health officials to determine safe attendance numbers and is prioritizing the health of its Cast Members and Guests, and I encourage you to check out the helpful Returning to a Land of Magic page. You'll find all kinds of information about what to expect during the phased reopening. While there will certainly be other Mouseketeers there enjoying the magic with you, you should still be able to expect smaller crowds than normal!

Have you already downloaded the Disneyland mobile app? Not only will it be a fantastic tool to see current attraction wait times and join a virtual queue for select attractions, but you'll also be able to place a mobile dining order or join a walk-up list whenever your tumbly gets rumbly like Winnie the Pooh's. It's definitely a must-have tool!

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, Annette, and please feel free to let us know if we can help with anything else as you're thinking through the details of your visit. I hope you have a truly magical adventure!
