I have reservations at a Jambo House value studio. I was considering switching my reservation at the 7 month mark, to Beach club studio. Would this switch be worth the extra points?

Thank you for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question, Robin! This is a tricky question to answer because what might be a great idea to me might not be the best plan for another, but here are my thoughts!

I personally find the additional points to stay at Disney's Beach Club Villas of value because my two young children swim like Dory and Nemo and never stop talking about their favorite water slide, the 230-foot long replica of a Shipwreck. Also, we find the convenience of walking or sailing to two theme parks and a monorail transfer to a third, unparalleled. We travel with a large double stroller loaded with items for a fun day of theme park exploration as well as with a Guest on an Electric Conveyance Vehicle. It is easiest when we do not need to fold the large buggy or drive the ECV up the ramp to board a bus. One of our favorite Character Dining Experiences, Minnie's Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Cafe is located just steps away in Disney's Beach Club Resort. Finally, I love the theme and natural light of this particular Disney Vacation Club Resort. This feels like Home to me!

Of course, a Value category Deluxe Studio Villa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House can be a difficult Reservation to make because it is so popular! It offers a truly immersive experience in beautiful African culture, for an impressively low point cost.

It's a tough choice! Good luck!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
