Hello Bernadine!
Welcome to planDisney! As much as I love that everything about my Disney trips is now online and I no longer make a spreadsheet of everything by hand, I also know that sometimes the technology presents its own complications. While I am not 100% sure I understand all the details of your booking, I think I have a few ideas that might help you.
First, if I am understanding correctly, it sounds like you have a
My Disney Experience Account and a corresponding email address, but the person who is paying for the trip does not. I don’t think this should cause any major issues. You should be able to use your My Disney Experience Account to manage the trip for everyone, even if you pay using an alternate method. It doesn't need to be the same person. If the trip has already been booked and paid for by the other party member, all you need to do is link the reservation number to your My Disney Experience Account under 'My Plans." You’ll then be prompted to link the Guests’ names from the reservation to the travelers on your
Family & Friends list. If you haven’t yet booked a reservation and are trying to, you should be able to book using your My Disney Experience Account, but use the credit card information for the Guest who is paying for the vacation. If you are still having complications booking the trip, or cannot get My Disney Experience to recognize your reservation, or perhaps I misunderstood what your question was asking, I would
call for further assistance. Once each Guest has a theme park ticket linked to them, you should be able to make
Park Pass Reservations for your trip. While
July is still wide open, I suspect that once park hours are announced, the Park Pass Reservations will fill quickly, so I would not wait to make those reservations.
I hope this helps you get your details straightened out, Bernadine, and you get those Park Pass Reservations booked quickly!
Have a Magical Day!
