Hoop-De-Doo Hello to you, Sean!
I'm so glad you brought your question to planDisney. I just enjoyed the high-energy antics (and the mountains of delicious BBQ and comfort food favorites) at
Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue with all my planDisney panelist friends last week. This was my second visit to Pioneer Hall, and it certainly won't be my last.
Though I love the fun and the food at this musical showcase, it can be tricky to navigate to its location at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. We opted for
Minnie Van Service to save us some time, but there is an internal bus system at Fort Wilderness, which will help connect you to the main points of pickup for other transportation around the property.
I checked the
Hours & Events calendar for your date of visit, and see that most parks are currently set to close at 9 p.m. that day. This is subject to change and I recommend checking as your visit gets closer to see if any of the hours end up being extended a bit. If not, I have a few suggestions to get you back to your resort room at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.
As I mentioned above, the quickest way is probably Minnie Van Service which can be accessed through the Lyft App. This is a paid option but this is the only transportation that can pick you up at the Pioneer Hall stop (Settlement Depot) and get you back to your resort without any additional transfers. Definitely keep it in mind because you'll be leaving the show with full hearts and tummies.
I reached out to a Cast Member who confirmed that bus and water transportation to
Magic Kingdom Park typically stops an hour after official park closing. This would put you around 10 p.m. based on the current posted hours. Since your show will end a bit after that time, I recommend speaking with a Cast Member on-site once you finish your meal. Bus service does not normally run between resorts, but they will advise you on available options that day whether it's taking a late boat back to Magic Kingdom Park for a standard resort bus, or possibly calling in a favor for some magical bus transport solution. I've found that Cast Members work hard to ensure no guest is stranded but you'll need to speak up and let them know.
If for some reason you can't utilize
complimentary transportation directly back to your resort you can also consider boarding the internal bus back to Outpost, the main bus pick-up area at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. This internal service typically operates from 7 a.m. to 12 a.m. daily. Once at Outpost, you can utilize a third-party ride-share service back to your resort. These will likely be less expensive than opting for a Minnie Van via Lyft, but you will forgo the adorable polka-dot van.
I hope this helps, Sean. If we can answer any additional questions please come back and let us know.
Wishing you a magical visit,
Amy
