Port Orleans Resort French Quarter Pool

    We have reservations at french quarter for walt disney world 2023. Can we use key to the world cards for hotel and park entry and also use the card for park restaurant charges and shopping. We do not want to use phones, wrist bands or carry a credit card

    How exciting that you have a 2023 Walt Disney World Resort vacation to look forward to!  I think you will love your stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter.  This resort is simply charming, and its relatively compact size means you are never far from amenities such as Doubloon Lagoon pool and Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory.  Be sure to stop by Scat Cat's Club Cafe for some of their famous beignets!

    Caroline, if your preference is to use a Key to the World card to unlock the door to your hotel room, access your theme park admission for park entry, and charge purchases to your room folio, you are welcome to do so. 

    One limitation of cards that you should be aware of is when it comes to Disney PhotoPass photos.  When capturing photos with a Disney PhotoPass photographer, they'll be able to scan your card to link your photos to your My Disney Experience account.  Some, but not all, attractions that offer on-ride photos have a photo preview area at the exit of the attraction where you can tap your card to link your photos.  For attractions that do not offer a photo preview area, the only way to link your photos is "automagically" with a MagicBand or Disney MagicMobile pass.  If you are interested in having access to your on-ride photos, you may wish to consider using your prearrival discount to order 1-2 MagicBands, depending upon how large your group is.  You don't need to wear it on your wrist -- even if the MagicBand is in your pocket or bag the photos of your ride vehicle should still link to your account.  The other option would be to create a Disney MagicMobile pass and save it to the digital wallet on your mobile device.  Your photos will connect to your account via Bluetooth.  A MagicBand or Disney MagicMobile service is also required for certain interactive experiences in the parks.  MagicBands, Disney MagicMobile passes, and Key to the World cards can all be used interchangeably, so you are welcome to use a MagicBand or Disney MagicMobile pass solely to link your photos to your account, and your Key to the World card for other features.
