we have reservations to fort wilderness and our friends have reservations to fort wilderness on the same days. how can we try and set it up that we are camping near each other?

    Howdy, Tracy!

Welcome to planDisney! Can you believe it?! In just a matter of DAYS you'll be off on your grand adventure to the Most Magical Place on Earth! And as if that weren't exciting enough, you'll be calling Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort "home" during your stay. From cozy campsites and woodland trails to campfire sing-a-longs with Chip 'n' Dale, you'll be surrounded by rustic charm and Disney magic everywhere you turn. It's the perfect blend of outdoor fun and pixie-dusted wonder. What a way to kick off your vacation!

If you're hoping to have your campsite located right near your friends, there are a couple of easy ways to put in that request. The quickest way is to use the chat feature directly on the Walt Disney World website to submit your request. Or, if you'd rather talk it through, you can reach out directly to Disney Resort Hotel Reservations, and a Cast Member will be happy to note your request. Just keep in mind, while they'll do their best to sprinkle pixie dust and place you nearby, it all comes down to availability, so it's not 100% guaranteed. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that you'll be neighbors!

Tracy, based on your arrival date, it looks like your purchase window for Lightning Lane passes opens today...if that's something you're planning on taking advantage of. You can jump right into your My Disney Experience app to make those purchases and get a head start on planning your park adventures!

During your stay at Fort Wilderness, I hope you'll have the chance to stop by the Tri-Circle-D Ranch. This is where Disney's beautiful horses call home, and you can see everything from the majestic horses that pull Cinderella's carriage to the smaller ponies that younger cowboys and cowgirls can ride. It's a peaceful, hidden gem to explore.

Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Tracy!

    See ya real soon,
