When do reservations for Fort Wilderness camping in January 2024 open? We are looking to visit around the time of the Disney marathon. Thank you.

Hey howdy hey, Kevin! Welcome to planDisney!

Ah, the great outdoors! There's nothing like spending an exciting day at the parks, then relaxing under twinkling stars and towering pines at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. This is one of my favorite spots to vacation when I travel with my husband and we've made some of our happiest memories biking around the woodland trails and sitting by a crackling campfire for Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long. You're sure to have an extra special trip!

Kevin, booking vacation packages for 2024 should open up in late spring or early summer of this year. I'd recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, which always seems to announce these exciting updates first! Once you can book for the new year, I'd suggest purchasing a vacation package that includes your stay at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and your theme park tickets. Then, make your theme park reservations with the Disney Park Pass system as soon as you're able to! This is an important step to reserve your desired parks for each day of your trip.

If you have any other questions, I hope you visit us again real soon. After all – you've got a friend in me!

    Ride like the wind, Bullseye!

My husband and I live in a little town that we affectionately call Main Street, U.S.A. where we often find ourselves seeking out ice cream, finding new adventures, and having lightsaber battles in our backyard. While we love to travel to galaxies far, far away, we consider Walt Disney World Resort our second home and I can't wait to help you add even more magic to your Disney vacations!
