We have reservations at the Fort Wilderness Cabins for the first week of August & we have our own electric cart. Can we bring it?

    Hi AManda,

Our family finally stayed at the Fort WIlderness Cabins for the first time last spring. We loved it so much, we booked a return visit less than two months later to visit some of the numerous amenities we missed the first time.

The Fort Wilderness Campground is quite large and the various guests areas are not really accessible by foot from the cabins and campsites. This leaves the internal Disney bus system or by an electric cart. The use of electric carts is very popular and probably the easiest and quickest way to move around the Campground. The carts can be rented, but can be quite costly as the daily rate is approximately $55 a day. If you have your own electric cart you are welcome to bring it and use it on the Campground property. There are electrical plugs outside the Cabins if you need to recharge the battery.

Have a great time and don't forget to check out Chip-n-Dale's Nightly Campfire SIng-along and movie. This is a great (free) family activity to end the day with.
