Disney Beach Resorts like
Disney’s Vero Beach Resort are great getaway options to relax to the sounds of ocean waves while still being immersed in that Disney magic. We spent part of our spring break last year at Disney’s Vero Beach and we can’t wait to go back! Now, let’s talk about how you can book that most important meal of the day with Disney characters!
As you’re aware, the character breakfast at Wind & Waves Grill is only available on Saturday mornings from 8:00AM to 12:00PM. According to the
Resort’s website, reservations for this restaurant can only be made through OpenTable. I can personally attest to this as we booked the character breakfast through that website during our visit last year. If you don’t see any availability for your arrival, the website also mentions that same-day reservations are also accepted, so you may want to try securing a reservation that way as well.
While you’re at Vero Beach, be on the lookout for
sea turtles! June is prime sea turtle observation season and you’ll find three different species of sea turtles at Vero Beach: loggerheads, greens, and leatherbacks. In the mornings you may find Cast Members from the conservation team on the beach and if you’re extra lucky you may even see some freshly hatched sea turtles! The Resort just asks that you maintain a safe distance when observing sea turtles as the species that reside at Vero Beach are either threatened or endangered.
