    Hi! I have reservations for Disney's Art of Animation for the middle of July. I noticed that the resort shows online that it will reopen in mid-August. What does that mean for my existing hotel reservations? Thank you, Michele

    What wonderful news! I am elated to hEAR that your trip is just around the river bend, Michele! As you prepare to return to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort, you will be glad to know that Disney is prioritizing the wellbeing of Guests, as well as the wellbeing of Cast Members. From enhanced cleaning procedures to reduced contact, such as cashless transactions, Cast Members are making sure your Walt Disney World Resort vacation feels as safe as it is magical.

    Some of the safety measure implementations include the reopening of Walt Disney World Resort hotels in different phases. Although Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is not set to open just yet, I don’t want you to worry. According to the Update on Disney Resort Hotels Reopening page, “We continue to assist Guests with current hotel reservations for 2020, modifying travel plans as needed.” If by the time your Resort hotel is not available during your travel dates, Cast Members will reach out to help modify your reservation to a Resort hotel that is welcoming Guests back to the magic.
