When does reservations for the Disneyland on site properties open up for 2026?

Hi Miriam! Welcome to planDisney! As the go-to Disney trip planner in my family, I know how exciting it is to keep tabs on hotel availability and reservation windows. There’s something extra magical about having a Disneyland vacation on the calendar, especially when you’re daydreaming through a warm summer afternoon.

Right now, the three Hotels of the Disneyland Resort (the Disneyland Hotel, Pixar Place Hotel, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel) are booking reservations through December 31 of this year. Dates for 2026 haven’t been released just yet. In previous years, new rates and availability have typically opened sometime in August, but those release dates can vary from year to year. Your best bet is to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, where any updates on 2026 vacation packages will be shared first (along with other fun park news!)

If you’re planning a hotel stay, it’s likely you’re also thinking about theme park tickets. These tend to follow a slightly different release schedule: tickets generally become available about 180 days in advance, though that’s always subject to change. You can view current ticket availability on the Theme Park Tickets page of the Disneyland website. As of now, tickets are on sale through January 23, 2026, for both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.

As you start mapping out your park days, I’d recommend checking out the Lightning Lane Multi Pass. It’s a great way to streamline your visit by using the Lightning Lane entrance at select attractions, which is perfect for skipping the standby line and staying cool during those sunny park days. You can purchase the  Lightning Lane Multi Pass for your whole group either before your visit or once you’ve arrived. After you scan into the park, simply open the Disneyland app to reserve return times for your must-do attractions. It’s quick, easy, and pairs perfectly with a churro or Dole Whip in hand.

I hope this information helps as you begin planning your Disneyland Resort adventure, Miriam! If any other questions come up along the way, we’d love to help again here at planDisney.

Wishing you a magical and delightfully sunny vacation,
    David
