We have reservations at the Disney Polynesian resort and tickets for the Magic Kingdom on the day we arrive. Can we arrive early (8:00am) on the day we check-in, park at the resort and take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom for the day before check-in?

    Sabrina,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

On the day you check in to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, you are able to start using the amenities of the resort, including parking, even before your room is ready. So yes, you can park early, then head off to your adventures!

    BONUS TIP #1

One thing that may help is to use the Direct-To-Room Service where you can check in to your room ahead of time. When your room is ready, the system will text you the information and you can see your room number on your My Disney Experience App.

    BONUS TIP #2
If you have some items in your car that might not do well sitting in the heat of the Orlando sun all day long, you can always leave your bags with the Bell Services Desk at the resort. They can keep your belongings for you, and you don't have to worry about coming back to boiled luggage!

    BONUS TIP #3
I don't know if you have heard, but as of earlier this year, overnight self-parking is complimentary to guests staying at Disney Resort hotels. They also enjoy complimentary standard theme park parking.

Please feel free to write me back directly with any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
