We have reservations at the Disney campground… we would like to add our park tickets now. Can we do this? And my son in law is active Marine and we would like to get the military tickets

    Hiya, Stacey! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm so excited to hear that you're planning a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort this August! My husband and I love staying at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and I know you're going to have a magical time there. There's nothing like spending a day having fun in the theme parks, then relaxing in the evenings under a starry sky with a cozy campfire!

Stacey, you are absolutely able to purchase your theme park tickets! You mentioned that your son-in-law is an active service member and you'd like to purchase the Disney Military Salute Tickets. First of all, I would like to thank your son-in-law for his service. As a military spouse, I know that quality time is a gift and I can't think of a better place to spend that time together than at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

Eligible Service Members are able to purchase Disney Military Salute Tickets either from their local base or through Shades of Green. Personally, we like to order our tickets through Shades of Green because they arrive to us activated and ready to be used. No matter how you purchase your tickets, you have two important steps to take. First, make sure you link your tickets to your My Disney Experience account. Next, be sure that you make your Theme Park Reservations using the Disney Park Pass system! This is an important step to make sure that you've reserved the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip. As a reminder, valid military identification is required at the time of purchase and use of the Disney Military Salute Tickets!

After you've linked your tickets and made your Theme Park Reservations, I'd suggest taking some time to download and explore the My Disney Experience app! This app will allow you to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even mobile order food. This way, you know your meals and snacks will be ready and waiting for you before you ever feel a rumbly in your tumbly! Don't miss checking out some of the meals at P & J's Southern Takeout at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort!

I hope I was able to help you today, Stacey! If you have any other questions, please visit us again. After all, you've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
