    We have reservations for December with 8 day passes. When we arrive we plan to upgrade to annual passes since we wil return in April. Will we get an AP discount at AoA since we wil then be pass holders? What merchandise discounts will we get?

    Hi, Andrew!  Annual passholders do not automatically receive resort discounts.  There are several times throughout the year when annual passholder discounts are made available, but the number of resort rooms that is discounted is limited.  You may be able to rebook your room with an annual passholder discount if one becomes available before your vacation.

    The resort room discounts applies only to the room, and you will have to show the annual pass when you check in.  You can visit guest relations to upgrade your passes prior to checking in, so that you'll have the pass with you.

    You can find a complete and up to date list of the available merchandise discounts by checking in at Walt Disney World Passholder Program.
