We have reservations the day we check in to go to Animal Kingdom Park. Do we need to go to the hotel first to check-in and get a parking pass for our car? Or if we do online check-in how do they know we are staying at a disney hotel for parking at the park

    Jambo Candra!

What a magical way to begin your vacation; you’re going to love visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park! It’s unique in its own particular way, and with stunning views of nature encompassing Guests, it’s hard not to fall in love while wandering the theme park. I’m so excited for you to experience riding on the back of an Ikran (Mountain Banshee) on Avatar Flight of Passage

Candra, I’m happy to tell you that you do not need to head to your Disney Resort hotel to pick up parking passes. As you know, Guests of Disney Resort hotels can enjoy complimentary standard parking at all four theme parks. Cast Members at the parking booth will be able to verify that at least one Guest in your vehicle is a registered Disney Resort hotel Guest by scanning a MagicBand, Key to the World Card, or your Disney MagicMobile feature enabled through your My Disney Experience Mobile App

If you have luggage and would like to drop it off at Bell Services at your Disney Resort hotel, they would be happy to store your things for you until you are in your room.
While enjoying your day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, I recommend watching the Festival of the Lion King. This larger-than-life production contains beautiful songs, incredible dances, and much more! Afterward, you may want to stop by the Harambe Fruit Market and grab a delectable grilled corn on the cob with African spices! It’s one of my very favorite snacks in all of Walt Disney World Resort!

Wishing you an enchanting visit, Candra!
