    I have reservations at the Contemporary starting April 12th, would you please tell me if the construction is a big hassle to deal with or is it not anything to worry about?

    Hi Lance,

    Construction is never fun especially while on vacation.  I have to say I usually stay at the BoardWalk and I have been there during construction.  Disney tried to locate guest far as possible from the noise and construction as possible.  They made sure the area under construction was unaccessable to guests. They did not start construction at unreasonable hour and were usually finished by 5:00 pm.  Since I was out touring most of the time, it really had no impact on my stay.

    However, if you think you will be back at the Contemporary for breaks, it may impact you more.

    If you are truly concerned, I would call Disney and explain the situation.  If Disney can accomodate you, they usually, try however they may not be able to.

    I hope this helps and remember only 30 days until vacation!
