Hi there, Aaron, and welcome to planDisney!
After a pixie-dusted day at Magic Kingdom Park, a visit to the quaint
Crystal Palace sounds like a great idea. While I’ve only dined there for breakfast (the Mickey-shaped churro waffles are ah-mazing), I can say that your nighttime meal will be just as enchanting.
I spoke to a friendly Cast Member about your request. According to her, the best plan of action is to tell your waiter (as soon as you order your drinks) that you’d like to view the fireworks on the front porch area when
Happily Ever After begins. I’ve watched a castle morning show from those outdoor seats, and while it is relaxing, the view is not totally unobstructed.
The character interactions at The Crystal Palace are some of my favorites on Walt Disney World Resort property. The meet-and-greets are relaxed and the characters are so sweet—and a little sassy (I’m talking about you, Tigger). During your all-you-care-to-enjoy meal, they’ll visit your table at least once. The restaurant will provide you with a fun, pre-autographed card, so you won’t need your own autograph book.
AN EXTRA GEM: As you get closer to your time with your Hundred Acre Wood pals, you may want to modify your reservation time in order to make the most out of your dining experience. Go to “Future Plans” in your
My Disney Experience App, select your dining reservation, and modify it. New times may appear that could accommodate a dinner that is a bit earlier than your current slot or after the fireworks display.
Aaron, please
revisit us here at planDisney if you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation. Tell Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore “hello” for me! Toodeloo!
Magic always,
LeAndra
