We have reservations for Chef Mickey's at 7:10 am. We're staying at Saratoga Springs. How do we get from Saratoga Springs to The Contemporary Resort that early in the morning?

    Hi Mary!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love to book early morning Advance Dining Reservations as well. We get a good start on the day with a full belly and some character hugs. What could be better? The transportation situation can be a little bit tricky however if you are dining at a resort different from the one you are staying at.  As a general rule of thumb, buses begin operating for the Magic Kingdom at 6:30 a.m. for Guests with character dining reservations. You will need to be sure to catch that first bus from Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa to the Magic Kingdom. Then you would need to make an approximately 10 minute walk to Disney’s Contemporary Resort via the walking path, or take the Resort Monorail which begins operating at 7 a.m. daily.

An alternative would be to take a taxi directly from Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa to Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Most places within Walt Disney World Resort run in the $20 to $25 range for taxi service. While there is a cost to this option, it is the fastest route from one resort hotel to another. When we had a 7:05 Advance Dining Reservation, this was the option I chose.

Let me know if there are any additional questions I can help with as you plan your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation, I love helping to make trips more magical!

    Happy Planning!
