Hi! We have reservations at Chef Mickeys on our last day of our stay! Its our goodbye meal. We have our own car so if we check out of our resort (Coronado) will we have to pay parking at the contemporary when we arrive for breakfast?

    Heigh-Ho Sara,

While leaving Walt Disney World always tugs at my heartstrings, I do love you are leaving on a high note and hopefully the rumbly in your tumbly will be happily filled with the deliciousness of Mickey Waffles.

Guests experiencing the culinary delights and antics of Mickey and his Friends, at Chef Mickey’s, will enjoy complimentary parking at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Upon entrance, to the Resort, have your Advanced Dining Reservation ready to show to the Cast Member at the front gate. This can easily be accessed on your My Disney Experience mobile app. Once confirmed, he will direct you towards parking. Character dining is currently in a modified state and while Mickey and his Friends will not be able to stop at each table, because even Disney Characters must adhere to social distancing, they are happy to pose for some selfies at a distance so have your camera ready. And afterward, take a ride on the Resort Monorail to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa for a walk around this beautiful resort and its grounds before boarding the Resort Monorail back to your car. It’s a Practically Perfect way to make your final curtain call at Walt Disney World.  But clearly, there will be a future encore.

As your arrival day comes closer stay up to date by following the Disney Parks Blog and check our Instagram (@plandisneypanel) for more Disney Magic and may your upcoming stay be filled with many magical and memorable moments.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
