When will reservations for the cabanas at Typhoon Lagoon open?

Hang on to your surfboard, Allison; there's a typhoon a-brewing! Thanks for swimming by planDisney with this question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit. April will be a perfect time to dive in at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, so let's see about making your stay a real splash.

As you probably know, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is scheduled to reopen on March 19 after its annual refurbishment. Since you are within the 60-day window to book a private Beachcomber Shack, I suggest you call (407) WDW-PLAY as soon as possible to reserve one. There are several levels to choose from, including Standard, Deluxe, and Premium Plus. You can check the prices and descriptions to select the one that will help your party make some waves.

If you're "leaning" toward some yummy food while you're at the water park, try the Crabless Crabcakes at Leaning Palms quick service restaurant. My favorite tip is to take advantage of Mobile Ordering through the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Just click the Mobile Food Orders tile, choose the desired restaurant and return time, and place your order. It's as easy as the backstroke!

Allison, I'm sending tons of pixie dust and sunscreen that you'll secure a Beachcomber Shack for your upcoming water park visit. They're a relaxing way to have a home base and some shade! Feel free to stop by planDisney if you have any additional questions. Surf's up!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
